Junior Project
Name of Assignment: Junior project
Subject: Junior seminar
Facilitator/Teacher: Ms. Cassie
Description of Work/Assignment: Your junior project may focus on any topic of your choosing, keeping in mind that your main goals are academic, personal, and growth in 21st century skills. Whether you choose to make something, work/volunteer/intern somewhere, or research a topic/issue, a successful junior project is characterized by learning as much as possible. Your junior project should be a reflection of something you’re genuinely interested in learning and/or passionate about. You are invited to complete your project with a partner (in your same class section) or alone.
Which 21st Century Skill do you feel this assignment addresses, and why? This project addresses thinking and problem solving because I definitely problem solved and I thought a lot during this process.
What are you most proud of from this assignment, and why? I am proud that I got to work on my own and solve problems on my own.
How did you develop and/or improve upon your 21st Century Skill with this assignment? I developed my problem solving skills by problem solving and finding problems to solve.
What was most difficult about completing this task? The most difficult thing about this task was communicating with everyone along the way and finding what I needed from the right person.
How could you improve this work? If you could start over, what would you do differently? I would have done everything sooner.
How does this relate to what you have learned in the past? This relates to anything that I’ve done independently
How can you apply this to future learning? I can apply this by creating an independent atmosphere for myself and make it easier to not depend on others.
